Science and cooking
Carefully chopping the lollies into quarters.
We are being very careful to make sure that our fingers are above the knife.
Mixing the lollies into the biscuit crumbs.
Mixing the butter mixture into the biscuit mixture.
We rolled the lolly cake balls in coconut.
Who would like some pudding?
We need a spoon to eat a solid. If it was still a liquid we could drink the pudding.
Our cut up lolly cake, just like in the shop (almost).
We had drinks too, but they were frozen solid. How would we make them into liquid again?
Yum!
Kids can Cook
The Sous Chef is doing a great job with the mixing.
Tyler is so good that the main chef can sit down.
This silverbeet is from the school garden.
The chef can flip the crepes over quite easily.
Can the chef help Tyler flip the crepes?
They flipped it so high, there is a crepe on the top windowsill!
Time for tasting.
"Put it in your mouth then have a think about how it tastes."
Do you like it?
"Look Mr Forde, there are crepes everywhere!"
